First Communion Instruction Retreat 2023

Sunday, March 19th 2023 from 1pm-5pm | First Communion instruction is designed for children 4th-6th grade. Sessions will be led by Alleluia! staff with parent volunteers as small group leaders. The children will also have the opportunity to make a personal communion banner. This event will begin in The Underground. Please enter at door #10. Please be sure to select in-person retreat or online retreat on the registration form. Students can receive their First Communion at one of the following services: Sunday, April 2nd at 9am; OR Sunday, April 2nd at 10:30am, Thursday, April .6th at 7pm.

There are two ways to participate in the First Communion Instruction Retreat. Please review and select how your child will participate.



Option
1: Your child will attend the in-person retreat on March 19th with at least ONE parent present the entire time.  Participants will be placed into small groups with parent volunteers as leaders.  Banners will be made onsite during the retreat.  


Option 2: Your child will participate in the online retreat from home.  After your registration is complete, you will receive an email from April Blair about picking up a pre-packed First Communion kit from Alleluia! The kit will include a link to the Google Slides presentation, your child's First Communion Book, a recipe for First Communion Bread, and your child's First Communion Banner Supplies.
